Welcome to Common Road

Vision and Strategic Direction

A warm welcome to the Common Road Infant and Nursery School website.

I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of Common Road School and I hope to continue to develop the opportunities and experiences, life skills and academic success for every child at Common Road, whilst ensuring that their well-being and safety is paramount.

Common Road is a unique, exciting and innovative school where a child centered approach to learning is combined with a rich range of high quality opportunities and creative educational experiences. Staff and Governors are committed to giving the children and families of the local area the best opportunities and parental involvement is a very important part of this.

The website offers a picture of life at Common Road and illustrates the vision and values we work hard to deliver.

You are very welcome to visit the school as a prospective parent or as a parent with a child already in school to discuss any matters or concerns.
Common Road Infant and Nursery School values your support.

Mrs Deborah Batty
